The existence of human beings is solid proof that, with great effort and sacrifice, living beings can master the process of transitioning from unconscious to conscious existence. I see no reason why attaining awareness of the “invisible” should be treated any differently. In the book “Half a Time”, which you are reading, I am trying to convey my own insights into an unknown, invisible component of the existence of living beings, insights I arrived at through reflection on the creation and evolution of all that exists, on the relationship between body and spirit, and on the true meaning of the words of God given in parables as recorded in the Books of Revelation, the Bible, and the Quran.
When it comes to reading books, things have always stood like this: some people are happy when they “open” them, and some, when they “close” them. If God does not exist, then invisible worlds do not exist either! In that case, those who read this book from cover to cover will represent the more foolish part of the human race. And if things are different, they will soon become completely indifferent to what others think of them.
“The best form of devotion to Allah (SWT) is the pursuit of knowledge.”[1]
Most people are ready to claim that absolute truths do not exist and that everything can be “this way or that”. According to them, what will be proclaimed as truth depends on the angle from which something is observed, the way in which the information obtained is connected (and interpreted), and on the observer themselves. I do not believe that. God’s Revelations, for example, cannot be a matter of personal taste or point of view. They are absolutely independent of the attitudes human beings hold toward them, and they are so superior to the insights humans have acquired through experience or reasoning that, without exaggeration, it could be said that Earth’s inhabitants know virtually nothing that could be classified as knowledge of truly essential significance.
Without the Revelations that periodically reached them “from heaven”, humans would still be nothing more than wretched, primitive, and semi-conscious beings who, once they vanished from the face of the Earth – and they certainly would vanish, and quite likely in the not-too-distant future – would not be worthy of even being mentioned. However, the Revelations do exist, which means that there is also a chance for the present state of things to change.
The second condition that must be fulfilled for a human being living on Earth to become aware of the existence of invisible worlds is that, on the planet built from the invisible component of existence of that person’s hereditary material (which exists in a certain region of space-time of the invisible world), all the necessary conditions exist for the creation and evolution of beings conscious of their own existence. You can learn a lot about the very manner in which this can be achieved from the books I have written, but you can forget about it entirely if you doubt the assertions you read in the previous paragraph.
The third condition that must be fulfilled for a human being living on Earth to become aware of the existence of invisible worlds is that, during the formation of their own picture of the world, they have avoided any kind of specialization in their knowledge of the material or spiritual component of the reality in which they live, as well as of the invisible worlds, because otherwise, getting rid of a long-held bee in their bonnet would be almost impossible.
“O son of Adam! Devote yourself to My worship, I will fill your chest with riches and alleviate your poverty. And if you do not do so, then I will fill your hands with problems and not alleviate your poverty.”[2]
Even those who do not believe that the Quran and the Bible are true God’s Revelations cannot deny the fact that these two Holy Books contain much that makes them fundamentally different from all books written by human beings. On the other hand, even those who have devoted their lives to God and firmly believe that the Book they follow is His work cannot deny the fact that human beings do not understand what is written in it.
For all those who attempt to understand what the Holy Books really “say”, a major obstacle certainly lies in the fact that they have limited their inquiry to only one Holy Book, the one that, in most cases, was imposed on them from birth as the only correct God’s Revelation.
That both the Bible and the Quran are God’s Revelations, and that these Holy Books contain not only proofs of this assertion, but also concrete instructions for decoding what is written in them, you will be able to ascertain on the basis of the evidence presented in the remainder of this book, and for those who, even after that, continue to doubt the supernatural origin of these Books and the assertion that their “author” knew how to protect them from human negligence and from the ill intentions of certain members of humankind – may God be of help to them!
“This is the Book! There is no doubt about it – a guide for those mindful ˹of Allah˺, who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and donate from what We have provided for them, and who believe in what has been revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ and what was revealed before you, and have sure faith in the Hereafter.”[3]
“Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the day and night there are signs for people of reason. ˹They are˺ those who remember Allah while standing, sitting, and lying on their sides, and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth…”[4]
According to the claims of religious leaders, more than a billion people currently living on Earth follow the Revelation in which the cited passages are recorded. I do not believe that among these people there are many who “remember God while standing, sitting, and lying on their sides, and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth”.
Recall for a moment the basic assumptions of the Model, and it will become clear to you why belief in the unseen world and reflection on the creation of the heavens and the Earth are presented as fundamental conditions that must be fulfilled in order to become a believer, and why only people of reason who follow guidance could benefit from such reflection. I believe that after this, you will understand what the Prophet Muhammad meant when he said:
“There are two things which I abhor, the learned in his infidelities, and the fool in his devotions.”[5]
Although most followers of God’s last Revelation – that is, believers who call themselves Muslims – are reluctant to admit it, within God’s words (the Quran), recorded in the Mushaf (the book that Muslims call the Quran), and within the hadiths (the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad, the first interpretation of the Quran), there exist irrefutable proofs that the Bible, just like the Mushaf, contains recorded words and clear instructions to believers about what they must believe in and how they should regard all of God’s messengers and all prophets.
“Whenever We sent a messenger or a prophet before you ˹O Prophet˺ and he recited ˹Our revelations˺, Satan would influence ˹people’s understanding of˺ his recitation. But ˹eventually˺ Allah would eliminate Satan’s influence. Then Allah would ˹firmly˺ establish His revelations. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.”[6]
“Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ ‘O People of the Book! You have nothing to stand on unless you observe the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord.’…”[7]
“Righteousness is not in turning your faces towards the east or the west. Rather, the righteous are those who believe in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Books, and the prophets…”[8]
“O believers! Have faith in Allah, His Messenger, the Book He has revealed to His Messenger, and the Scriptures He revealed before. Indeed, whoever denies Allah, His angels, His Books, His messengers, and the Last Day has clearly gone far astray.”[9]
“This is a blessed Book which We have revealed – confirming what came before it…”[10]
“We have revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ this Book with the truth, as a confirmation of previous Scriptures and a supreme authority on them.”[11]
“The Book We have revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ is the truth, confirming what came before it.”[12]
“Do not argue with the People of the Book unless gracefully, except with those of them who act wrongfully. And say, ‘We believe in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to you. Our God and your God is ˹only˺ One. And to Him we ˹fully˺ submit.'”[13]
“If you ˹O Prophet˺ are in doubt about ˹these stories˺ that We have revealed to you, then ask those who read the Scripture before you…”[14]
“You will surely find… the most gracious (towards the believers) to be those who call themselves Christian.”[15]
“Surely those who deny Allah and His messengers and wish to make a distinction between Allah and His messengers, saying, ‘We believe in some and disbelieve in others,’ desiring to forge a compromise, they are indeed the true disbelievers…”[16]
“Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “O People of the Book! Let us come to common terms…”[17]
In the preface to the translation of the Quran recorded in the Mushaf from Arabic into the language I speak, it is written:
“Following the indisputable call to believe in one God, almighty, comes the requirement to believe in all His messengers, without distinction among them. Accordingly, a true and genuine follower of the Quran can only be someone who believes in all other prophets, just as they believe in Allah’s last messenger, Muhammad S.A.A.S. The same status applies to the Revelations sent before Muhammad S.A.A.S.“[18]
The following citations prove that there truly are passages within the Revelations whose understanding requires being endowed with reason, and living at the right time and in the right place:
“In fact, they ˹hastily˺ rejected the Book without comprehending it and before the fulfilment of its warnings…”[19]
“It (the Quran) is only a reminder to the whole world. And you will certainly know its truth before long.”[20]
“So leave to Me ˹O Prophet˺ those who reject this message. We will gradually draw them to destruction in ways they cannot comprehend. I ˹only˺ delay their end for a while, but My planning is flawless.”[21]
“The unspiritual man does not receive the gifts of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.”[22]
“Do not quench the Spirit, do not despise prophesying, but test everything; hold fast what is good.”[23]
“God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that should not see and ears that should not hear, down to this very day.”[24]
“If any one imagines that he knows something, he does not yet know as he ought to know.”[25]
“All this Jesus said to the crowds in parables; indeed he said nothing to them without a parable.”[26]
To support my assertion that there is a more mature way of interpreting the Revelations, one more appropriate for conscious beings, I will use a passage recorded in the Bible.
“About this we have much to say which is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need some one to teach you again the first principles of God’s word. You need milk, not solid food; for every one who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a child. But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their faculties trained by practice to distinguish good from evil. Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity… And this we will do if God permits.”[27]
Firmly believing in their own infallibility, Peter’s successors and the high Christian clergy have reduced the Bible to the level of a literary work that, in their opinion, their inspired ancestors wrote from memory and altered whenever the need arose. To all those who are still willing to listen to them, they shamelessly proclaim that the Bible is “not based on scientific truths, but rather on religious truths”, that this Holy Book “contains material which is imperfect and obsolete”, and that the concepts of the world and nature recorded in it “reflect the level of social thought development of the contemporary time in which the authors lived”.[28]
Beings who possess awareness of the existence of invisible worlds know that both the Bible and the Mushaf contain the recorded words of God, or, which is the same, the Quran. Such beings understand that not a single sentence found in these Holy Books is present without a valid reason. Muhammad’s instruction to the believers states: “The Quran has been revealed in seven different ways, so recite it in the way that is easier for you“[29]. After reading this instruction as though it were written exclusively for them, the “authorized” interpreters of the Quran recorded in the Mushaf announced to the believers that, by the grace of God, they had realized that it contains a hidden message which reads: “Accept our interpretation of the words of God as if it were your own“.
The behaviour of religious teachers has much in common with the behaviour of the heads of secret intelligence services. A scene from an adventure film has remained etched in my memory, in which a secret agent’s excessive curiosity was “treated” by his superior with these words: “You are told what you need to know, and what you do not need to know is not told to you”. What it is that “those who know” know – you will never find out, because about the Creator and the invisible worlds you are told “what…”. I would truly like to know whom religious teachers believe the following words of God refer to?
“On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers.'”[30]
To believe in the literal meaning of the words of God written in the Holy Books, and yet not be abundantly rewarded for it already in this world, is not easy at all. All those who claim that they would have believed in Abraham, Jesus, or Muhammad had these messengers of God appeared in the time in which they themselves live, rather than in the distant past, are lying to themselves and to others.
Jesus, for example, claimed that whoever does not eat his flesh and does not drink his blood cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven. In addition, he advised parents to allow their children to approach him freely and to follow him, because the Kingdom of Heaven, into which one can enter only after death, is reserved precisely for them, and for an indefinite time.
It will not be difficult for you to imagine living in a time in which, by God’s will, the Revelations have not yet been sent down to Earth; but can you imagine, in that case, that the heart of any of your contemporaries, whom you consider rational beings, would be filled with joy upon learning that their own child is following a man wrapped in a white sheet who claims not only that he is the “Son of God”, but that he himself is God, and not some “ordinary god”, but one of three Gods who are, in fact, a single God; that the child has fulfilled the aforementioned cannibalistic requirement, at which the hair of every normal person stands on end; and that the child has committed to obey, without question and until death, everything demanded of them not only by that man, but also by his disciples and the disciples of his disciples? Your contemporary would also have to consider it reasonable that this man demands of their child belief in miracles such as: the creation of everything that exists in only six times twenty-four hours (plus recess), the raising of the dead, resurrection after three days spent in the grave, and ascension into heaven, for example, because only in that case would they, on the Day of Judgment, that is, when this God–Son–man returns to Earth riding on a cloud, be among the fortunate who will then receive a reward for their good deeds, rather than among those who will be cast into Hell, a heavenly concentration camp for disobedient children, where they will burn in eternal fire and be tortured, something in which the inhabitants of Paradise, all of them virtuous believers and proven lovers of humanity, will take immeasurable delight? I cannot imagine such a thing, and if, God forbid, my child were to believe in this, or some similar nonsense, and allow themselves to be turned into a sheep by some scoundrel, I would do everything in my power to bring them back to their senses.
I am certain that none of your contemporaries would consider normal either a parent who, after a “call from heaven” received in some nightmarish dream, decided to slaughter their own child as a sacrificial ram, or a child who would not resist this, or a society that would fail to harshly punish even the very intention to do such a thing, as was, allegedly, the case with Abraham and his son.
I also doubt that they would believe some illiterate shepherd who, after spending several days lying about in a cave, would announce to them that, somewhere just before dawn that day, an angel had whispered to him that God had chosen precisely him as his final messenger. I dare not even think what would happen to that unfortunate man if, shortly thereafter, he were to demand of his “loved ones” that they also believe that, on one of “those” nights, he was raised up to seven different heavens, that there he spent ample time conversing with the most eminent messengers of God, that all of them, without exception, acknowledged his prophethood, and reminded him that it was exclusively his duty to force, by whatever means he could, the polytheists – which in this concrete case means all human beings – to finally believe in a single Creator, in life after death, in invisible worlds, in jinn and their chariots, in the Day when the bones of the dead will be brought back to life, and in Holy Wars in which the only true victors will be those participants who “watched” the battle’s end from the other world.
If you have thought even for a moment that I consider Christians, Muslims, and other honest believers to be frauds or bad people – you are gravely mistaken! I am merely asserting that their belief is not the result of a decision based on facts and irrefutable evidence. Something else is at work here, something of which they themselves are not aware. They do not know that all beings living on Earth are a physical record of the knowledge about the material and spiritual components of reality, acquired by the being that exists in that reality, from whose linear genetic text, as matter, and the organic structure of body, brain, and genome, as energy, everything that exists in the Solar System in which they live is built, including themselves. That being does not believe in God; it knows that God exists and that the Revelations are His work. It knows full well that all beings living on Earth, its planam, are integral parts of its reason. Christians, Muslims, and all other beings who sincerely believe in one God, the Holy Books, God’s predestination, and the Day of Judgment are anything but frauds or bad people; in my opinion, they are precisely those in whose reason (in the genomes of the beings living on their planam) the knowledge about the Creator and about invisible worlds possessed by that being is encoded. And if anything on Earth truly has value – then it is they! Only, there are not several billion of them, as Christian and Islamic religious teachers claim; there are far, far, far fewer, and most often, they do not follow anyone.
“Let there be no compulsion in religion, for the truth stands out clearly from falsehood.”[31]
Events conditioned by the forces and laws that govern invisible worlds have, from time immemorial to the present day, created and sustained human stupidity and superstition. To become and remain “normal” in such an environment has been almost impossible. Even a mere reminder of all manner of sorcerers, prophets, quacks, astrologers, exorcists, hermits, philosophers, artists of every kind, color, scent, and flavor, bone-setters, writers of spells and talismans, “believers”, and other charlatans tasked with washing the grooves of the tabula rasa can provoke a feeling of anxiety in any even slightly reasonable person and drive them to ask: what kind of place am I living in? Perhaps this is precisely what pushed humanity to unreservedly embrace science, the most dangerous of all deviations of the human mind, and representative democracy, the dumbest of all possible ways of shaping the fate of a people: a system that empowers those who understand absolutely nothing, who live in the past, who are afraid of their own shadow, and who dutifully send the bill for all their failures off for cancellation to dear God.
It is of inestimable importance that we have become aware of the existence of invisible worlds and that we have finally understood where and in what manner our knowledge and experience were recorded, and how they were mutually aligned. No less important is the realization that we have acquired the capacity to intervene in both the visible and the invisible components of our own existence. This would most certainly never have been possible for us had the Holy Books not “revealed” their secrets to us. For the first time since we have existed, the possibility has appeared for us to free a part of ourselves from the natural forces of the world in which we live. At the same time, everything that was promised to believers in the Revelations ceases to be consolation for failed lives and is transformed into a concrete goal.
“As I do not rush and work more for my pleasure than for duty, I am like the great gods who build: I build, I tear down, I build again, until I am completely satisfied with the result, which seldom happens.”[32]
Joseph-Louis Lagrange
Just as the physical structure of my planam and the physical structure of all beings currently living on that planet are an integral part of the invisible component of the existence of my hereditary molecules and the linear genetic text encoded in them, so too are the physical structure of the planet I live on and the physical structure of all beings living on it an integral part of the invisible component of the existence of the hereditary molecules of some living being and the linear genetic text encoded in them.
Just as all beings that currently live in the invisible world on my planam – including that inhabitant of that planet who possesses the highest level of development of body and spirit achieved on that planet, whom I shall for that reason call the Great Planamian – are, in their essence, physical records of my insights into the material and spiritual components of the reality in which I live, so too am I, and all the beings who live alongside me on Earth, in our essence physical records of the insights into the material and spiritual components of the reality in which it lives that were acquired by the being from whose linear genetic text, as matter, and hereditary molecules in which it is encoded, as energy, the Solar System in which I live, the planet on which I live, and all the beings that live on that planet were built. In a desire to flatter myself a little, I shall call that esteemed inhabitant of the Origin Planet – the Great Thinker.
The Great Planamian, therefore, is not a name that should be used to denote a particular level of bodily and spiritual development of beings living in the invisible world on the planam of a being that lives on Earth and possesses a complex brain structure; rather, it is the name of that being which lives on that planam and possesses the highest level of bodily and spiritual development. The same criteria apply when assigning the name the Great Thinker to one of the beings living on the Origin Planet.
The Great Thinker possesses one significant advantage over us Earthlings: he is much smarter. Among other things, he knows that we Earthlings exist, and that we perceive the invisible component of the existence of the hereditary materials of all beings living on the planet on which he lives as the celestial bodies that make up our sky. He also knows, of course, that he himself is a physical record of a small fragment of the reason of some living being, and that he lives on someone’s planam.
You have finally “met” the Great Creator, the being from whose linear genetic text, as matter, and hereditary molecules in which it is encoded, as energy, are built, among other things, the Origin Planet and the bodies and brains of all beings currently living on that planet, including the Great Thinker.
The cosmos in which we live is nothing other than the second, invisible component of the existence of the hereditary material of all beings currently living on the Origin Planet. Viewed from the other side, the hereditary material of all beings currently living on the Origin Planet is nothing other than the second, invisible component of the existence of the celestial bodies that currently make up our cosmos. Together, these two components constitute the reason of the Great Creator. Taken individually, their existence is not only meaningless, but also impossible!
The Great Creator is not God, but is godlike. The relationship between the Great Creator and beings similar to him and God (the Almighty, the Merciful, the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End), is analogous to the relationship between the Great Thinker and the inhabitants of the Home Planet similar to him and the Great Creator, or to the relationship between myself and the inhabitants of Earth similar to me and the Great Thinker, or to the relationship between the Great Planamian and the inhabitants of my planam similar to him and myself.
All beings living on Earth, when solving a problem, draw upon the knowledge recorded in hereditary molecules of beings living in the invisible world on their planams. It is therefore certain that the genomes of all Earth’s inhabitants and all the “Solar Systems” of our galaxy are currently helping the Great Creator complete the project called “the Day of Judgment on Earth”, because he quite literally thinks through them.
“But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee…”[33]
Pay close attention to the quotation you have just read. The “heaven” is the cosmos in which we live, and the “heaven of heavens” is the reality in which the Great Thinker lives. Neither “heaven” nor the “heaven of heavens”, therefore, can contain the Great Creator, let alone God.
It is time to go in the opposite direction.
The reason of the Great Thinker exists in the invisible component of the existence of his hereditary material, that is, within our Solar System, on Earth. The same, of course, applies to your reason, which, if you possess it, can exist only in the invisible component of the existence of your hereditary material, that is, in the invisible world on your planam. The fact that you intuitively associate your reason with the organic structure of your brain is a consequence of the fact that the beings living in the invisible world on your planam (your logicae and ethicae) are physically situated in the atmosphere, seas, and oceans of that planet, which are analogous, in the visible world, to the linear genetic text that is active exclusively in the cells that make up your brain and the other parts of your nervous system, as well as the organic structure of the hereditary molecules in which it is encoded. You therefore feel changes in the structure, spatial arrangement, and energy level of the material that constitutes the atmosphere, seas, and oceans on your planam, that have been directly or indirectly conditioned by the beings that live on that planet, your logicae and ethicae.
My awareness of the existence of invisible worlds is analogous to the existence of beings conscious of their own existence who live in the invisible world on my planam. All beings currently living on that planet possess hereditary molecules and linear genetic texts encoded in them, and all of them also have an invisible component of their existence, existence in the form of matter and energy from which all celestial bodies in my new cosmos of hereditary material (my new invisible world) are built, as well as all beings that currently live in that world. I say “my” because every human being currently living on Earth has their own new cosmos of hereditary material, that is, a cosmos built from the invisible component of the existence of the hereditary materials of all beings currently living in the invisible world on their planam. My new cosmos of hereditary material is therefore a cosmos built from the invisible component of the existence of the hereditary material of all beings currently living in the invisible world on my planam. In essence, the true proof that, in one of the beings living in the invisible world on my planam, the process of gaining consciousness of itself and of the world in which it lives has truly begun would be the fact that, on the planet built from the invisible component of the existence of its hereditary material – which, logically, is located in my new invisible world – there also exist colonies of cells.
Gaining awareness of the existence of worlds (cosmoses) that cannot be registered by bodily senses or instruments, and gaining knowledge about the way they are connected to the world in which you live and to yourselves, is inconceivable without a supernatural source of information. That source consists of the classical Revelations, the Bible and the Quran, and the books “The Invisible World” and “Half a Time”.
The Great Planamian lives in the invisible world on my planam, that is, on the planam of a being that is aware of both the visible and the invisible components of its existence, which, according to the Model, means that he is conscious of his own existence; or, which is the same, that in my new invisible world on its planam there also live multicellular beings that possess a complex structure of body and brain, but not consciousness. The being that lives in my new cosmos of hereditary material, on the planet built from the hereditary material of the Great Planamian, and that possesses the highest level of development of body and spirit attained on that planet, I will call the Little Planamian. Every civilized human being living on Earth (human beings also live on the planams of those beings living on Earth who possess awareness of the existence of invisible worlds) has their own new invisible world in which living beings exist, which means that each has their own Great Planamian and their own Little Planamian.
My new invisible world existed even before I became aware of the invisible component of my existence. None of the beings that lived in it at that time possessed a multicellular bodily structure. Living beings also existed in the new invisible worlds of those of my (and your) distant ancestors who were the first to believe that certain events in the world they lived in were conditioned by “higher forces”. The insights into the world they inhabited that my ancestors arrived at by thinking about spirits, gods, sin, fate, or the afterlife, and the experiences they acquired by applying those insights in everyday life, were recorded in the hereditary molecules of the beings that lived in their new invisible worlds. The evolution of “awareness” of the Creator in the reasons of my ancestors was accompanied by the evolution of multicellular animals possessing brains that lived in the invisible world on their planams, as well as by the evolution of unicellular beings that lived in their new invisible worlds on the planams of the inhabitants of those planams. This means that the germ of awareness of the “invisible” exists in every human being.
All celestial bodies that currently exist in my new invisible world, the cosmos in which my Little Planamian lives, are built from matter and energy that are nothing but another, invisible component of the existence of the linear genetic texts of all beings that currently live in the invisible world on my planam, and of the hereditary molecules in which those texts are encoded.
The Great Planamian sees in his sky “countless” celestial bodies built from matter and energy that are nothing but another, invisible component of the existence of the linear genetic texts of all beings that currently live on Earth, and of the hereditary molecules in which those texts are encoded.
Every inhabitant of Earth who is endowed with sight sees in their sky “countless” celestial bodies built from matter and energy that are nothing but another, invisible component of the existence of the linear genetic texts of all beings that currently live on the Origin Planet, and of the hereditary molecules in which those texts are encoded.
My Little Planamian, my Great Planamian, and I therefore live in three different, mutually tightly interconnected worlds.
According to the claims of Islamic theologians – claims believed, or at least so they assert, by more than a billion Muslims – there exist three worlds, not one. These three worlds are: Dunyā, Malakūt, and Jabarūt. According to them, Dunyā is the world in which you live, Malakūt is the world of angels, souls, and spirits, and Jabarūt is the world of Allah’s knowledge![34]
The Model confirms the existence of these worlds. They are:
– The visible world – Dunyā (the world in which I live, a cosmos built from the invisible component of the existence of the hereditary materials of all beings that currently live on the Origin Planet)
– The invisible world – Malakūt, the world in which my Great Planamian lives, a cosmos built from the invisible component of the existence of the hereditary materials of all beings that currently live on Earth
– My new invisible world – Jabarūt, the world in which my Little Planamian lives, a cosmos built from the invisible component of the existence of the hereditary materials of all beings that currently live on my planam, and in which live beings whose reasons are nothing other than physical records of those insights into invisible worlds that I have acquired by making use of what is written in the Holy Books, or, which is the same, by making use of “Allah’s knowledge”.
Islamic theologians also claim the following: while Allah’s servant is in the world of Malakūt, he has the possibility of choice in his actions; but when he enters the world of Jabarūt, he no longer has the possibility of choice while he remains in that world, and he is compelled to choose what the Almighty chooses and to will what the Almighty wills.[35]
Beings that possess awareness of the existence of invisible worlds treat the above claim as yet another in a series of proofs of the Model. When you become aware of the invisible component of your existence, that is, when on the planet built from the invisible component of the existence of your hereditary material there also exist beings that are conscious of their own existence, there will be a place within your reason where you will be able to record your own insights about the invisible worlds. That place is the minds of the beings that live in your new invisible world. From that moment on, your independence in choosing and willing ceases, because nothing that your senses and your reason can provide can contribute even in the slightest to the evolution of your newly acquired consciousness. The evolution of your reason and your actions will, from that moment, depend exclusively on the knowledge hidden in the words of God written in the Revelations.
According to the claims of the aforementioned theologians, that which belongs to the world of Dunyā dies, that which belongs to the world of Malakūt dies, and that which belongs to the world of Jabarūt dies.[36]
Like the previous two, this claim also unequivocally proves the correctness of the Model. Just as is the case with all other beings that live in Jabarūt (my new invisible world), the Little Planamian, besides the visible component, also possesses an invisible component of his existence, an existence in the form of matter and energy from which some of the celestial bodies that exist in the Hereafter are composed, that is, in the cosmos built from the invisible component of the existence of the hereditary material of all beings that currently live in my new invisible world on the planam of the Great Planamian, the being that lives in the invisible world on my planam. Through the evolution of the organic structure of the body and nervous system of the Little Planamian, conditions will be created for the creation of living beings on his planam, that is, in the Hereafter. Do not let the word “evolution”, used in the previous sentence, confuse you, because the Little Planamian, remember, is not the name of a particular living being, that is, not of a being that is born, develops, ages, and dies, which, taken together, cannot be called evolution. What I mean is the following. Viewed from the perspective of a being that lives in the Hereafter on the planam of the Little Planamian, who lives in the new invisible world on the planam of the Great Planamian, who lives in the invisible world on my planam, the Little Planamian (a being not conscious of his own existence), the Great Planamian (a being conscious of his own existence), and I (a being aware of both the visible and invisible components of my existence) have undergone one (the Little Planamian), two (the Great Planamian), or three (I) transformations from the living into the non-living and vice versa. Viewed from the perspective of the Little Planamian, the body, brain, and hereditary molecules of the Great Planamian, and the linear genetic texts encoded in those molecules, whose analogues are the energy and matter from which all the celestial bodies within the “solar system” in which he lives are built, are dead beyond any possible degree of deadness. The same could be said about the way beings living in the Hereafter perceive the visible component of the existence of the Little Planamian, as well as the way the Great Planamian perceives the visible component of my existence. This means that from the moment when the first living beings were created on my planam, the visible component of the existence of my body and brain, and my hereditary molecules could (and should) be treated as non-living, which in essence they are. Likewise, from the moment when the first living beings were created in the new invisible world on the planam of the Great Planamian, the visible component of the existence of his body and brain, and his hereditary molecules could be treated as non-living. In a similar way, the visible component of the existence of the body, brain, and hereditary molecules of the Little Planamian has also “died”. This means that in both the visible and the invisible components of the existence of that inhabitant of Earth who is aware of both the visible and the invisible components of his existence, only the beings that live in the Hereafter are alive, more precisely, in one of the Hereafters, because within his reason there are as many Hereafters as there are multicellular beings on his planam possessing a complex structure of the brain. During the evolution of my body and spirit, therefore, firstly I “died”, then all the beings living in the invisible world (Malakūt) on my planam, and finally all the beings living in my new invisible world (Jabarūt) on the planams of the beings that live on my planam. And all of this happened so that I might, with my little nose (the invisible component of the existence of the hereditary material of all the beings that live in one of my Hereafters, i.e., that integral part of my reason), peek into the seventh heaven. But believe me, it was worth it!
The theologians were therefore right! Without any doubt, that which belongs to the visible world “dies”, that which belongs to the invisible world “dies”, and that which belongs to the new invisible world “dies”. Only “eternal life” in the Hereafter does not die. The promise given to us in the Revelation reads as follows: “then on the Day of Judgment you will be resurrected“[37], provided, of course, that you are not discouraged by the fact that this will require you to dedicate your life to the creation of the seventh heaven. Until then, reflect a little on the following warning:
“This worldly life is no more than play and amusement. But the Hereafter is indeed the real life, if only they knew.”[38]
The following quote from the Revelation deserves special attention. In it, the “final events” are mentioned, a mystery that has stirred the minds of human beings “since time immemorial”.
“…’And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time… And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, until the time of the end.’
‘How long shall it be till the end of these wonders?’‘… it would be for a time, two times, and half a time… all these things would be accomplished.’
I heard, but I did not understand. Then I said, ‘O my lord, what shall be the issue of these things?’
He said, ‘Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end. Many shall purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined; but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand; but those who are wise shall understand.'”[39]
According to the Model, from the invisible component of the existence of the hereditary molecules of plants and animals that live in my new invisible world, and from the linear genetic text encoded in them, i.e., from those constituent parts of my reason, the stars that shine in the Hereafter are built. If that, too, is me, and it is, and if the invisible component of the existence of my friends is similar to mine, and it is, then that state of our mind could indeed be recognized in the prophecy: “Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament.” The bright firmament is precisely what you would see if you were to peek into that part of the invisible component of the existence of each of us.
Little Planamian, and the beings similar to him that live in my new invisible world on the planam of the Great Planamian, thus, one of my nobler ethicae, that inhabitant of my planam in whose reason (and in the reasons of the inhabitants of that planet who are similar to him) the knowledge I acquired after becoming aware of the invisible component of my existence was encoded, are nothing other than that part of my reason by which I could truly turn many to righteousness; and indeed, the invisible components of the existence of their hereditary molecules and the linear genetic texts encoded in them shine in the Hereafter like the celestial stars, just as was foreshadowed in the previous quotation.
The knowledge accumulated by human beings, the Revelations that were sent down to Earth in due time, God’s predestination, and life in Sarajevo enabled me to become aware of the invisible component of the existence of living beings. The fact that I became aware of the existence of invisible worlds is analogous to the fact that some beings living in the invisible world on my planam became conscious of their own existence. The evolution of my insights into the “invisible” was accompanied by the evolution of the body and spirit of those beings living on my planam that possess consciousness of their own existence, and thus also by the evolution of the beings living in my new cosmos of hereditary material on their planams. The beings living in the invisible world on my planam could gain awareness of the invisible component of their existence only if a new source of knowledge were to appear on Earth, one superior to the Bible and the Quran, and that could only be a new Revelation. That is where the story ends. Because the Quran is the last classical Revelation, and because with the seventh heaven the evolution of my consciousness is drawing to a close, it will never happen that the beings living on my planam become aware of the invisible component of their existence. This again means that in the new cosmos of hereditary material, there will never exist beings conscious of their own existence, or, which is the same, that multicellular beings will never live in the Hereafter. Because the evolution of the bodily structure of the beings living on a given planet is analogous to the evolution of the cosmos built from the invisible component of the existence of their hereditary materials, and because the evolution of the beings living in the Hereafter will stop “halfway” (“half a time”), the Hereafter will never look the way the cosmos in which I live looks currently (one time), nor the way the cosmoses in which the Great Planamian and the Little Planamian live look currently (two times). This means that after “a time, two times, and half a time”, the evolution of the body and spirit of the Great Thinker will indeed be completed.
“Indeed, We created the heavens and the earth and everything in between in six Days, and We were not ˹even˺ touched with fatigue.”[40]
“He is the One Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days, then established Himself on the Throne.”[41]
“And indeed, We created above you seven levels ˹of heaven˺. We are never unmindful of ˹Our˺ creation.”[42]
“˹He is the One˺ Who created seven heavens, one above the other…”[43]
“The seven heavens, the earth, and all those in them glorify Him. There is not a single thing that does not glorify His praises—but you ˹simply˺ cannot comprehend their glorification…”[44]
Unlike our immediate and distant ancestors, we both “see” and comprehend the invisible worlds. We also understand that all those worlds and all the beings living in them are nothing other than constituent parts of the mind of the one God. Each of those worlds is a cosmos of hereditary material, and thus also the reason of some living being. Those worlds are: the reality in which the Great Creator lives, the heavens in which the Great Thinker lives, the visible world in which I live, the invisible world in which the Great Planamian lives, the new invisible world in which the Little Planamian lives, the Hereafter and the seventh heaven, the cosmos built from the invisible component of the existence of the hereditary material of all beings that live on a planet existing in some fragment of the space-time of the Hereafter.
I hope it is now clear to you how, by means of one’s own reason (knowledge), several heavens and everything that exists within them, both living and nonliving, can be encompassed.
“Allah is the One Who created seven heavens ˹in layers˺, and likewise for the earth. The ˹divine˺ command descends between them so you may know that Allah is Most Capable of everything and that Allah certainly encompasses all things in ˹His˺ knowledge.”[45]
How was the world really created, and who created it? And from what? And where? And why? Creation is the key question over which believers and nonbelievers have, for thousands of years, taken turns crossing both their pens and their swords. The world is too vast to have come into being just like that, out of nothing and for no reason. Living beings are far too complex for their creation to be blamed on the “test tube” known as the primordial atmosphere. The story of the “spontaneous emergence of conscious matter” is so frivolous that no one wants to hear it anymore. The claim that God created and fashioned all this could be treated as madness, but also as the only possible answer to these and similar questions. At first glance, one gets the impression that the Revelations themselves contributed to making the first of those two possibilities prevail. If you read carefully what is written in the Holy Books, you too will become convinced that “something does not add up” there. Everything indicates that neither the world, nor the beings that live in it, nor the Revelations are the work of a single Creator, but that there were at least three of them, as those who follow the Bible believe, and perhaps even more than that, as is indirectly asserted in the Quran. At the same time, believers are allowed (and encouraged) to doubt all sorts of things, except the assertion that there is only one Creator.
If, for example, you were to ask a Muslim who, in his opinion, created the world in which he lives, the answer would be short and clear, it would be – Allah. If you then asked him whether he is firmly convinced that everything written in the Quran is exactly what Allah revealed to humankind, the answer would, I am sure, be affirmative. Yet those answers would be based on trust in the claims of self-proclaimed religious authorities, rather than on arguments. Every honest Muslim will admit that, while reading certain passages of the Quran, he has sometimes turned a blind eye and even, at moments, switched off his reason; and the Christians who are certain that people have not tampered with the contents of their Holy Book could be counted on the fingers of one hand. There is no dilemma, however; God, one God, did create both the world in which they live and they themselves, but he wrote the account of this in parables, that is, in such a way that it can be read and understood only by those who possess awareness of the existence of invisible worlds, and that state of body and spirit, you may be sure, is not attained through blind belief.
“Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the Maintainer of everything.”[46]
The cited passage is part of the Quran. It unequivocally asserts that God created the world and that He governs it. Yet in that same Book, there are also statements that can confuse the reader, because based on them, one might think that it is full of contradictory claims. The “problem” is by no means trivial and deserves to be resolved once and for all.
“It is We Who created you. Will you not then believe ˹in resurrection˺?”[47]
“We only created the heavens and the earth and everything in between for a purpose and an appointed term…”[48]
“We do not send the messengers except as deliverers of good news and warners. But the disbelievers argue in falsehood, ˹hoping˺ to discredit the truth with it, and make a mockery of My revelations and warnings.”[49]
“Indeed, it is We who sent down the message ˹i.e., the Qur’ān˺, and indeed, We will be its guardian.”[50]
“Surely it is We Who give life and cause death. And We are the ˹Eternal˺ Successor. We certainly know those who have gone before you and those who will come after ˹you˺. Surely your Lord ˹alone˺ will gather them together ˹for judgment˺. He is truly All-Wise, All-Knowing.”[51]
Mysterious beings who “hide” behind the pronoun “We” are mentioned far too often in the Quran to be ignored. These beings claim to be immortal and that they are the ones who created the heavens, the Earth, and the beings who live on this planet out of nothing, and who sent Revelations and messengers to humankind. However, this does not prevent them from demanding that believers firmly believe that the heavens, the Earth, and the beings who live on this planet are Allah’s creation, and that He is the one who sends Revelations and messengers. Understanding this “phenomenon” is further complicated by the fact that, not infrequently, the same sentence mentions “We”, “He” (“Him”), and “your Lord” (“I”, “Allah”) all at once! Interpreters of these puzzles have only added fuel to the fire with their speculations, as their interpretations were so at odds with common sense that no one, not even they themselves, believed in them.
“This is the creation of Allah. So show Me what those other than Him have created. Rather, the wrongdoers are in clear error.”[52]
There are four possible exits from the mental labyrinth faced by those who engage in independent interpretation of the previous passage. Either Islam is not a monotheistic religion, or the Quran is not a Revelation, or every third sentence written in it was added or altered by some human hand, or this Holy Book was written in a language used in communication by beings who possess awareness of the invisible component of their existence, that is, beings who, “day and night”, know that the first three possibilities are excluded.
I assert that the celestial bodies composing the cosmos in which you live are built from the invisible component of the hereditary material of all beings currently living on the Origin Planet, that the planet on which you live is the planam of the Great Thinker, that every being living on that planet is a part of his reason, and that he himself is also part of someone else’s reason.
I also assert that the invisible world exists, that it is built from the invisible components of the existence of the hereditary materials of all beings currently living on Earth, and that the invisible component of the existence of my hereditary material (and yours, of course) is present in that world as a group of celestial bodies in all other respects very similar to our Solar System, except for the fact that none of them are inhabited, nor will they ever be inhabited, by beings aware of the invisible component of their existence.
And finally, I assert that there is unequivocal evidence in the Holy Books for all the claims I have set forth in this book. Even the “controversial” passages belong among the firm proofs and precious sources of knowledge.
“And He is the One Who originated you all from a single soul, then assigned you a place to live and another to ˹be laid to˺ rest. We have already made the signs clear for people who comprehend.”[53]
All beings that live in the invisible world on the planam of a friend of mine, that is, on the planam of a being who lives on Earth and possesses awareness of the invisible component of his existence, are nothing other than a constituent part of his reason, a physical record (of a part) of his knowledge of the material and spiritual components of the reality in which he lives. If this friend of mine were in a position to reveal to his planamians the actual truth about their creation and evolution, he would not be mistaken if he told them that the energy and particles of matter from which their bodies and brains are built are part of the invisible component of the existence of his hereditary material, or, which is the same, that they were created from him (“a single soul”). In doing so, he could, without any hesitation, make use of the cited passage from the Quran, that is, one of the many statements through which the Creators inform the conscious inhabitants of Earth about the manner in which their bodies, brains, and their reason were created.
“By the clear Book! Certainly, We have made it a Quran in Arabic so perhaps you will understand. And indeed, it is—in the Master Record with Us—highly esteemed, rich in wisdom.”[54]
The use of the pronoun “We” in the Quran, in places where one would, by all appearances, expect the pronoun “I”, that is, where the “Author” speaks about what He has “done” or intends to “do”, is not an attempt to drive believers on Earth crazy. Rather, it is a sort of “fool detector”, a kind of test that enables those who possess awareness of the existence of invisible worlds, in their encounters with other living beings, to “separate the wheat from the chaff”.
Behind the pronoun “We” used in the Quran, therefore, stand the Great Creator and beings similar to Him – put briefly, the Creators – the first links in the chain of creation of all the heavens (except those in which they themselves dwell) and everything that exists within them.
“…Just as We produced the first creation, ˹so˺ shall We reproduce it. That is a promise binding on Us. We truly uphold ˹Our promises˺!”[55]
Neither the space-time of the invisible world, nor the material and energetic content of that cosmos, existed before living beings were created on Earth. The creation of the hereditary molecules of the first beings that lived on Earth, and of the linear genetic text encoded within them, is analogous to the creation “out of nothing” of the energy and particles of matter that make up the invisible world. The cosmos built from the invisible component of the existence of the hereditary material of all beings currently living on Earth was therefore created from “that” from which the visible component of the existence of the hereditary material of those beings was also created, not “out of nothing”, and in no case “by chance”, as my planamians believe. For the same reason, the creation of the cosmos built from the invisible component of the existence of the hereditary material of all beings currently living on the Origin Planet (the planam of the Great Creator), that is, the creation of the cosmos in which we live, cannot be regarded as a random creation “out of nothing”.
The creation “out of nothing” and the repeated creation “out of nothing” are analogous to the creation of different levels in the development of a being’s reason. In this particular case, it is the reason of the Great Creator. In a similar way, my new invisible world and the Hereafter were also created “out of nothing” (from the invisible components of the existence of the hereditary materials of all beings that live in the invisible world on my planam, and from the invisible components of the existence of the hereditary materials of all beings that live on the planams of beings who live on my planam, that is, from those constituent parts of my reason). These worlds, too, are constituent parts of the reason of the Great Creator, just as he himself is a constituent part of the Divine Mind.
“Your Lord knows best all those in the heavens and the earth…”[56]
“…all those in the heavens and the earth submit to His Will, willingly or unwillingly, and to Him they will ˹all˺ be returned?”[57]
“And We ˹i.e., Our angels˺ are nearer to him than you, but you do not see.”[58]
After everything you have read so far, it is almost unnecessary to interpret such clear evidence for you. Something has gone very wrong if you (still) think that “those in the heavens” are the souls of human beings who once lived on Earth.
Although we cannot see it with our own eyes, the Creators do exist, and in every respect they are “closer to God” than we are. There are also “those in the heavens” (in your sky, you see one of the two completely equal components of the existence of the hereditary material of all beings currently living on the Origin Planet) and “those on Earth”. In a similar way, I, too, could “inform” my Little Planamian about the limits of his free will imposed on him by my godlike existence. I could tell him that it is well known to me that all the celestial bodies that make up my new invisible world (the cosmos in which he lives) are nothing other than another, invisible component of the existence of the hereditary material of all beings currently living in the invisible world on my planam, nor would I be lying if I told him that both those beings and all the beings living on the planet on which he resides (the planam of the Great Planamian) are subject to me, because, in both cases, they are constituent parts of my reason.
My Great Planamian could, with full justification, tell my Little Planamian (and all the beings that live on the Little Planamian’s planam) that, in relation to him (Little Planamian), both he and all the other beings living on my planam are much closer to me.
“Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, you are gods’?”[59]
The creation of the reason of a being living on Earth is, in the invisible world, analogous to the creation of living beings on his planam and to the creation of a cosmos built from the invisible component of the existence of the hereditary material of those beings, his new invisible world, a reality in which living beings can also exist. His ability to create a cosmos in which living beings exist, and to determine what (and when) will happen in that world, makes that inhabitant of Earth godlike.
I believe it would be useful for you, when reflecting on the way God created the cosmos in which the Great Thinker lives, or on the godlike nature of the Creators, which you will recognize in all passages that mention beings who call themselves “We”, to always keep in mind my role in the creation and evolution of my new invisible world, as well as the godlike capacity of every being that lives in the invisible world on my planam and is conscious of its own existence, to create, from the invisible component of the existence of the hereditary material of all beings living in my new invisible world on its planam, a real cosmos (the Hereafter) in which living beings (also) exist.
When God creates something, He does so by means of His Mind, or, which is the same, by means of the Creators. The only thing the Creators are not capable of creating is themselves; they were created by God. Each Creator is responsible for creation within the invisible component of its own existence. The difference between God’s creation and the creation attributed to the Creators lies in the fact that He, through His Mind, unifies their individual creations. God experiences all the Creators together as Himself, and expresses this by calling them “I” and by attributing to them what He has created or done.
The Creators perceive themselves as persons and are aware of the relations that connect them with God. Therefore, it is not blasphemy when one of those who present themselves in the Quran as “We” says: “This is the creation of Allah. So show Me what those other than Him have created”. These words of the Great Creator are not, therefore, a weak point in the Revelation, nor do they belong to the “stylistics of the Quran”, as some kind of orthopaedic aid that allows the (theologically) ignorant to elegantly bypass everything in that Book that they do not understand. Revelations, remember this, do not lie, and everything that is written in them – is the work of God!
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him…”[60]
The proof that man is truly created “in the image of God” is the fact that he also possesses the ability of godlike creation. I truly create my conscious planamians in a godlike manner “in my own image”. Every human being who lives in the invisible world on my planam would be telling the truth if they claimed that, through their bodily and spiritual experience, they have, in a godlike way, created all the beings that live in my new invisible world on their planam, and thus also the cosmos built from the invisible component of the existence of the hereditary materials of those beings. This, however, would not prevent me from declaring that I created both him and them, because they are the immediate consequence of the existence and development of my (godlike) reason.
Pay attention to the “illogical” shift of roles and responsibilities in the following quotations from the Holy Book. Try to recognize in them the identity between what was created by a mind and what was created by its constituent parts, or, in other words, the identity between what was created by God and what was created by the Creators. Reflect also on the way in which the messengers and the Revelations reached us, for here too, seemingly, a fierce struggle over authorship is taking place between “I” and “We”.
“The revelation of this Book is from Allah—the Almighty, All-Wise. Indeed, We have sent down the Book to you ˹O Prophet˺ in truth, so worship Allah ˹alone˺, being sincerely devoted to Him.”[61]
“He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel previously, as a guide for people, and ˹also˺ revealed the Standard ˹to distinguish between right and wrong˺.”[62]
“Indeed, We have sent down the Book to you ˹O Prophet˺ in truth to judge between people by means of what Allah has shown you.”[63]
“Indeed, We have sent revelation to you ˹O Prophet˺ as We sent revelation to Noah and the prophets after him. We also sent revelation to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants, ˹as well as˺ Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon. And to David We gave the Psalms. There are messengers whose stories We have told you already and others We have not. And to Moses Allah spoke directly. ˹All were˺ messengers delivering good news and warnings so humanity should have no excuse before Allah after ˹the coming of˺ the messengers. And Allah is Almighty, All-Wise.”[64]
“We have not revealed the Quran to you ˹O Prophet˺ to cause you distress, but as a reminder to those in awe ˹of Allah˺. ˹It is˺ a revelation from the One Who created the earth and the high heavens—the Most Compassionate, ˹Who is˺ established on the Throne.”[65]
“…And those to whom We ˹previously˺ gave the Scripture know that it is sent down from your Lord in truth, so never be among the doubters.”[66]
“Since We have sent you a messenger from among yourselves—reciting to you Our revelations, purifying you, teaching you the Book and wisdom, and teaching you what you never knew.”[67]
It is indisputable that in the Quran there are “too many” passages mentioning godlike beings who present themselves using the pronoun “We” for this “phenomenon” to be “swept under the rug”. Awareness of the existence of invisible worlds enables the one who possesses it to understand that such passages not only make complete sense, but are an exceptionally important part of the “story”, the part that unequivocally confirms that it is the work of a brilliant mind and the result of a brilliant design.
It is evident that the “We” are beings who stand by their word, as can be seen from the sincere effort they make to fulfil their promise, that is, to convey to us, the inhabitants of Earth, a part of what they know. I am certain that they were not lying when they sent us their warnings either.
“Those who hide the clear proofs and guidance that We have revealed—after We made it clear for humanity in the Book—will be condemned by Allah…”[68]
“…We have surely prepared Hell as an accommodation for the disbelievers.”[69]
“Surely those who reject Our signs, We will cast them into the Fire…”[70]
The Creators do not expect from us mere obedience; rather, they clearly convey that gaining awareness of the “invisible” must be preceded by changes in our body and spirit.
“Do not rush your tongue trying to memorize ˹a revelation of˺ the Quran. It is certainly upon Us to ˹make you˺ memorize and recite it. So once We have recited a revelation ˹through Gabriel˺, follow its recitation ˹closely˺. Then it is surely upon Us to make it clear ˹to you˺.”[71]
“…Indeed, We have made the signs clear for people of sure faith.”[72]
“…We make the revelations clear for people of knowledge.”[73]
“…We have made Our revelations clear to you, if only you understood.”[74]
“We have certainly set forth every ˹kind of˺ lesson for people in this Quran, so perhaps they will be mindful.”[75]
“And We have certainly made the Quran easy to remember. So is there anyone who will be mindful?”[76]
“…None will be mindful ˹of this˺ except people of reason.”[77]
I am certain that the time has come for we and “We” to have a serious “conversation”, and for that conversation to be at least somewhat meaningful, we should clarify certain things with ourselves before we engage in it.
The fundamental principle of every monotheistic religion, the testimony – “there is no deity but the One God”, simply must be fulfilled! This has obviously shaped all previous interpretations of the words of God recorded in the Holy Books, leading interpreters to offer explanations such as the stylistics of the Quran, the dramatic nature of the sacred text, the elusiveness of God in grammatical persons, the necessity of distinguishing sacred writing from human traditional experience, and so on. Did God truly formulate His claims and commandments in such a way that the human mind cannot understand them? Did He really entrust it to the “chosen ones” to “pull the beams” on the Sirat bridge[78] so that believers might cross it more easily? Can anyone truly be made a (greater) believer in such a way? Nothing of the sort! Human beings are simply not aware of the other, invisible component of the reality in which they live, and of themselves, and they act accordingly.
“The people will fall unconscious on the Day of Resurrection…”[79]
I hope you did not think that on that “day” consciousness will be lost because something (or someone) will whack both believers and unbelievers on the head. On the Day of Judgment, human beings will be confronted with the fact that they only thought themselves to be conscious beings!
